Posillico Auto Care is a car detailing business in Mill Neck, New York. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It is short because we do very little with your information.

What we collect

When you book, we ask for your name, email address, pickup address, and details about your vehicle. A phone number is optional. If you write anything in the notes field, we keep that too.

We collect this because we cannot detail a car without knowing whose it is, where it is, and how to reach you about it. Nothing on this site asks for payment details — payment is handled in person after the work is done.

Text messages

If you give us a phone number, we will text you about your booking. Giving us the number is how you agree to this; there is no separate box to tick. You may get up to four messages for a single booking:

• that we received your request
• that we have confirmed it
• that we cannot take it after all, if that happens
• a reminder the day before we collect the car

That is the whole list. We do not send offers, promotions, or marketing by text, and we never will from this number. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency depends on how often you book.

To stop them, reply STOP to any message. That takes effect immediately and you will not get another text from us. Reply START if you change your mind, or HELP for our contact details.

When you reply STOP we keep a record of your phone number so that we do not text you again. We keep that record indefinitely — deleting it would be the same as forgetting you asked us to stop. It is the one piece of information we deliberately do not delete.

If you reply to one of our texts with anything else, the message is forwarded to the owners' phones so a person can answer you. We are not running a bot on this number.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

We use a small number of services to run the business, and your information passes through them only so they can do their job:

• Google Calendar — where your booking is stored
• Resend — sends our emails
• Twilio — sends and receives our texts
• Vercel and Upstash — host the site and hold your slot while you book
• Google Places — suggests addresses as you type

We will also hand over information if the law requires it. That is the only other case.

How long we keep it

Booking details stay on our calendar so we have a record of work we have done — the same as a paper appointment book. Opt-out records are kept indefinitely, as described above. Everything else we hold only as long as it is useful for running the business.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@posillicoautocare.com or call (516) 672-6549 and we will sort it out. The one thing we will not delete on request is an opt-out record, for the reason above.

This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
