These terms cover booking a detail with Posillico Auto Care, a car detailing business in Mill Neck, New York. Booking through this site means you agree to them.

Booking and confirmation

Requesting a time is not the same as having one. When you submit the form we hold the slot and email you, but the booking is not settled until we confirm it. We usually confirm within a few hours. If we cannot take the time you picked, we will tell you and release it, and you will not be charged anything.

We need at least 24 hours' notice, which is why the calendar will not offer you a time sooner than that.

Pickup and delivery

We collect your car from the address you give us at the start of the window you booked, and bring it back to the same address when the work is finished. Someone needs to be able to hand over the keys, and the car needs to be accessible.

Please take your belongings out of the car first. We are not responsible for anything left inside it.

Price and payment

The price shown when you book is for the package and vehicle size you selected. Nothing is charged online. Payment is handled after the work is done.

If the car turns out to need substantially more work than the package covers — heavy pet hair, spills that have set, damage we could not see in advance — we will tell you before we start and agree a price with you. We will not surprise you with a different number afterwards.

Changes and cancellations

Reply to your confirmation email, text us back, or call (516) 672-6549. Tell us as early as you can. There is no cancellation fee, but a car we arrive to collect and cannot is a wasted trip, so please let us know.

We may have to cancel too — weather, a vehicle problem, illness. If that happens we will contact you and find another time.

Text messages

If you give us a phone number, you agree to receive text messages about your booking: that we received your request, that we confirmed it, that we could not take it, and a reminder the day before. These are transactional messages about work you asked us to do. We do not send marketing texts.

Reply STOP to any message to stop them, START to resume, or HELP for our contact details. Message and data rates may apply, and frequency depends on how often you book. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

Our work

We take care of your car and we do the job properly. If something is not right, tell us within 48 hours and we will put it right.

Detailing is cleaning and protection, not repair. It will not remove deep scratches, dents, rust, or damage in the paint itself, and results depend on the condition the car arrives in. We will tell you honestly what we think we can achieve.

Beyond putting our own work right, our liability is limited to what you paid for that job.
